What is your best advice for someone who is new to fasting? Pray about it. I have done it teamed up with my husband and also with a colleague or two too. The first times of doing one it was helpful to have others doing it with me. God got this! Lean in!

What is your best advice for someone who is new to fasting? Start small and gradually increase the duration and intensity of your fast. The goal is not primarily physical (although your physical body can receive great benefits from fasting) but it’s about building up your spirit and drawing closer to the Lord.
